Impeller choice

Postby High Octane » Wed Jun 28, 2017 6:28 pm

Hi Claude.

I have a 20' Hewescraft 200 SJ and want to replace the impeller with one of your Hi-Skew units. We mostly use the boat with a couple guys and our kids on board fishing in the Fraser River here in Mission, but may also be loaded up with camping or hunting gear inn much skinnier water. I just want know your opinion on weather we should go with the 3 blade or 4? Also I'll need a price and availability on the impeller and SS Sleeved housing for the same 2015 200 SJ.

Thanks,

Do you know what impeller you are currently running a std 4 blade or Hi-skew? Our HD 3 blade duplex SS is a bit heavier then the Merc Hi-skew making it more durable running a lot of silt through the pump. We do match the impeller to a SS sleeved wear ring @ 7.5 thou clearance for best all around impeller performance. All in stock for a quick turnaround time, HD 3 blade Hi skew $950.00, SS Sleeved housing $450.00 with exchange core.
