We are pretty excited about the next pair of jet boats we got in the works. Plate should be here in the next week or two. Both are 25' with LSX and 241 power with a few option differences between them. The boat has a bit steeper deadrise through the constant portion of the hull and a nice little warp up front for a better entry.

Designed to run big water off Alaska and up the shallow rivers, we call it the TAKU series!

It looks like the Floor is higher than what I am used to seeing. Is this something special for this build or?

This boat is going to spend a half of the time in some big salt water and half of it's time in the river. Where they run it's not uncommon to have some nasty weather and 9' swells. Hence, height is intentional as the big wave and pounding in the salt is a lot harder on a boat than running a river. For the structure we wanted to use a saltwater style interlocking frame system with integrated deck support with weld down decks. Tying everything together makes it super strong. Since we CNC, we cut out the excess to save weight. The floor is flat from front to back and also has a below deck 100 gallon belly tank. The boat also features side loading door. This style construction is fairly common with many of the engineered commercial and professional grade patrol and work boats. The 5086 is stronger as welded than the 6061 extrusions and it allows for proper drainage and stress reliefs as well as much more corrosion resistant.

Yes, 3 piece bottom, 3/8" delta, 1/4" bottom sheets. Also a 3/8" keel that protrudes through the bottom sheet for a 4 sided fillet versus a but weld, a lot more labor, but also a lot stronger.

Formed deltapad single piece bottoms have their place and purpose, but I think they ride and track terrible.
