what do you plan on for a power plant. Nice build looks awesome small enough to get in tight places, big enough to be useful I like it.

Like it. What are the bottom width and side height? Did you have it cut out from cad or did you just wing it?
Have a sport jet sitting here I'm trying to sell but if not I might do this' thanks

It's getting a rebuilt 110 hp sport jet .im not about to thrash this boat in the rocks or stuff it into a dead end creek so the boat is very light. 3/16 bottom 1/4 delta 1/8 for sides. The plans are a modified Bruce Cope design. I redesign it to have a walk through river style windshield and added the swim grid as well.as the anchor trap up front.

Yeah just finished carpeting the floor , finished the dash , and engine cover. Also the pump guards floor supports mounted gauges. That was enough today . 42 hrs into the build. Not too bad for one guy .

No I don't plan on wrecking this. I have another engine I'm going to build a heavy floor 10 ft so I can bast around with you in the river

I just found and joined this group. I have been looking at the mini jet boats for a while, but all of them were a little too small for my use. I found yours , and there could not be a closer boat to what I am looking for, so I have some more questions about yours if you have the time. I found the Cope 14' boat plans. Is yours this exact boat with changes to the windshield ( Which I really like) and the addition of the swim step? Not new to aluminum boat building as I have 7 other builds. Do you have any additional photos since you have finished it? Ideal horsepower? I am about ready to spring for the drawings, but hoped to see finished photos of yours first. I was looking for something to fish from and camp and hunt from, and I think this is big enough for that. Hope you don't mind someone duplicating your build. Thanks. I am in Siverton, Or. , but have a place in remote Alaska on the Iditarod trail on a lake.

Any new info? How’d she run? There’s been some talk about the height of motor house required to hide a sport jet what did yours end up measuring from delta to top of motor?

So had the boat out for a test run on Saturday. Fired up 2nd try and ran really well. Boat gets up on step fairly quickly. Was quite surprised . GPS said 47 klm/hr too speed . I think I can squeeze a few more just by tuning the throttle cable a bit . Top of the engine cover sits proud of the gunnel by only 2 inches . I could have made it shorter but I wanted some room inside. Applying spray foam for noise control. Pretty happy how this little boat did and how it turned out.....

.. hmm time for another project . Thinking about a center console 16 ft John style. Think I'll start looking for something supercharged for that one .
Maybe you'll see this one in the for sale line up .
