Is this one of the oldest Duckworth boats built. I did spot a old early Reddot that was stamped
1971 model year.

Well crap, I was on a roll there for a while, but then I got called back to wurk. (Heavy sigh.) I had it out on the lake, but there's one carb not quite right, and a few more nice-to-haves to complete. So... soon. I don't know top speed, but it seems pretty darned fast. The 350s are pushing the A2 to around 3900 RPM at 4700 ft elevation, which is much better than expected. One engine won't quite get it on plane.

On the plus side, wurk will cause my gas $ reserve to increase. Maybe I'll just replace the second carb too. Who knows. Maybe I need to marry a woman who actually likes boating. Then she'll say stuff like "Quit watching Rambo again, and finish that frackin' boat you lazy slob." Or not.

Wait a minute... did you put Chevys in there? The pics show 351 with Ford logos and forward distributors.

+1. I'm well within 1% accuracy, so that's good enough.
