New to boating

Postby BUSHRVN » Sun Mar 10, 2019 3:15 pm

Hi,
I'm new to the website. I bought my first boat other than canoes and kayaks 2 years ago, so I've started from a totally newbie position. I've got a baby jet boat, an Explorer Ind. 162 that I started out with a Yamaha F60/40 jet and upgraded to an F90/65 last summer. I've got there "X-gate" on the pump intake as well. I've been playing on large rivers mostly and have ventured into a few smaller rivers with a few bumps and learning curves on rivers that I've never been on and don't know what's around the next corner, like protruding boulder fields!! OPPS! I went with this boat because it fit my plans of hauling it ON my truck rather than behind it due to it's light weight and small size etc. This way I can take it along with my RV and atv's in the toy hauler on trips.
