Depends how the mileage was accumulated. Worse job a ever underbid years ago was rebuild of a Ford Flathead. 48,000 miles. Had never been out of Oakland. Ended up have it to bore and replace pistons. About a big 1/4 inch of cylinder wear.
Nice truck.

Hello Califbill, you are correct on how miles were accumulated. This truck was bought new at a Nampa dealership and had a cabover camper put on it the next day
truck was used to tow a 22' weldcraft on occasion and camping trips. 1st year of throttle body fuel ejected 454.

Thanks. Joe

Always figured if I restored an older truck, the choice would be either a 1958 Chevy step side, or a real early F100. Saw one one day they looked like a 3/4 size F100. Always wondered what year and model. Or a 1940 Ford P/U.
