Dead as a Mackerel, buddy figures it got hit by a logging truck, ran about 50 yards off the road, thrashed the shit out of the brush around him and then sat down and died from his injuries. You can see a bit of blood running from his right ear. Dam SPOOKY to walk up on in the bush for sure. This is a large bear, 8ft plus.

No, buddy that took the photo turned it over to fish and game for further inspection. I am not sure if it will be given to him when they are finished with it. Lots of rules when it comes to griggly bears in BC. Our tree hugger green party government has cancelled all g-bear hunting.

BC loggers don't carry picnic baskets.....
