Yesterday was our first trip where he helped me launch solo, and tried his hand at first mate! I was close to his age when the guy taking the picture had me sitting on his lap driving. Your picture is like looking in to my past and future in the same moment.

The first thing my son does when we turn off the engine is climb into the pilots seat. I also have a video of him "driving" with me on the kicker motor.

I love it! Enjoy these days, gentlemen. I remember taking my son out in my first jet boat when he was about 6 years old. He's now almost 33 years of age and living about a thousand miles away. The time flies by but your kids will always remember the time you spend with them.
