River of no Return on Discovery channel

https://renewcanceltv.com/discovery-cha ... no-return/

Just saw the pre-view ad on the Discovery channel. The show is supposed to debut Sunday Oct. 6.

Showed a boat going down a rapid, looked like a Bentz to me. The article in the link explains that the show will be about life in the Frank Church wilderness area. Looking forward to this one!!

Friendly reminder - it is on tonight. FWIW - I see a Mackay Bar Outfitters logo on the boat.

Check local listings. I'm in a time zone called Pacific Standard Time. A few of our fellow members have to abide by that unusual Mountain Time, bless their hearts - I hope they don't miss the show <c:

They need to be watched with that in mind. A lot of drama but good info too.Hauling a tractor would be interesting.

Great show, I watched for the first time on Sunday evening. Makes me miss Idaho and river boating, someday I will return for a visit and hire a guided trip up the river.

I love the Salmon River and love just watching them run the Jet Boat. But the Stupid Shit Dialogue is just too much! Come on his Heat exchanger Cap just popped off and then sat like that :Laugh1: :Laugh1: :Laugh1: :Laugh1: Maybe if I turn the sound off! I am already using the fast forward. :Drink: :Drink:

I thought the jeep must have had a aluminum block to come in that light.Drama fest for sure. they did not mention where the antifreeze was and how they delt with it .

I have enjoyed the show. but the stupid editing, and fake drama, lame. I would love to hear more about the history, and the real settlers. Obviously the jetboating is way cool.

Once again, I've kicked the hornet's nest... they say if you are inclined to do something, you should practice it <c:

If nothing else, it gives a window to our world … people who don't know, might enjoy and have an understanding for those of us who love that country.

To let you all know The boat really did have overheat issues Buck the driver of the boat and owner brought that boat to my shop the day he got the tractor out of there and he was pretty upset about it over heating had been ever since the boat was new we even replaced that motor with a new one after one time of getting it to hot, this was 2 years ago and that boat had over heated on that motor ever since it was new so he took the heat exchangers off took them to a radiator shop and had them hot tanked to try to clean them out so he could haul the Jeep back the next day, he was in a great big hurry the next morning putting them back on and he had set that cap on there an didn't tighten it up he wanted to check the antifreeze before he put the jeep on it well the jeep got loaded and forgot the cap I herd all about it the next day. Glad I didn't leave it loose. I enjoy the show knowing Buck And Joni and there boy Dax they are good people and they work hard to keep that river going so not all is smoke and mirrors on there yes more dramatic but who would watch it if it wasn't. Broke.
