Holy smokes. Make you want to run a Kayak. The Idaho bank is loaded with harmful rocks.

You got it. Rush and Granite don't look much better.

Attached a clip of our last run at it; flow was around 24K. Can pick out most of the rocks. Some very frothy water, the video really doesn't do it justice

Now we just need somebody with a drone to shoot a high water photo from exactly the same perspective.

Bet it won't be long before you can program a drone to find the best route and then slave it to your steering.

From the latest PW post it looks like they have slaved the steering to GPS, if desired.........if you load accurate waypoints into the nav plan, should produce an desirable outcome. Of course if you don't: garbage in = garbage out.

Rush and Granite don't look much better.

I love to see similar historical low water pictures of Rush and Granite if you have them.

That picture was taken shortly after Hells Canyon Dam was finished.The flow is about 1800 to 2000 cfm.It was at this time when they did the dozer work at Tryon Creek and a few other spots.
