Hi All, I am new to boating and looking for any info on boating the Saskatchewan river from Medicine Hat to Estuary. I have a 1775 kingfisher with 200 optimax. would it be to shallow to run in September or Oct?? The 2nd question is if you are hunting in alberta on a river, how much off the river bank is crown land before its on private land. I could not find any info in the regs but a friend said its the old flood line??. Thanks for any help.

The river you can navigate no prob that time of year, light boat, flat bottom, no prob. The hunting, as far as I know, 100m from shoreline is yours, take game at will. But that was allowed 20 yrs ago, probably changed now. FORCES BASE OBVIOUSLY OFF LIMITS COMPLETELY.
