Not from the area but planning to visit Devon later in August. Curious if the launch in town is open and good to go? T

Can a guy boat down stream through E-Town?

Thanks in advance.

Launch is open yes. It is under construction as they are building a new parking lot beside it for the non truck and trailer users. Parking lot can get busy on a hot weekend. You can go down to Edmonton as well. Its a fairly boring run and not to interesting, some gravel and sand bars to watch for during low flow, down town is nice to see from the river if your into that. The river isn't quite as clean headed into Edmonton, but it is a nice run up from Devon towards Genesse and past. If anything changes at the launch I will usually post something on the Devon AB Jet Boaters FB page. They will be moving some of parking blocks around and rearranging parking in the main lot fairly soon I'm guessing, but it should not be closed as far as I know.
