I would be interested. Could have two boats that would like to make the trip. We were thinking of 3 to 4 days, putting in at Poachers Landing.

We were thinking just after ice out. Havent been on this section of river yet. Gonna overnight in boat. Fuel may be a concern, Poachers to Grand Rapids is about 120 to 130 miles. Couple sets of mild rapids to run. Has anyone else run this, anything a fellow boater should be aware of? Want to do some fishing also. Just finished overhauling pump so anxious to see what she does. Kodiak 3 stage with course overlap from Claude at Exact Welding in Prince George, then two 22,s from Hamilton, followed by Scott trim nozzle with 96 mm insert. Hoping this prescription fits the bill

The trip you are wondering about is actually done quite a bit, Check out Grande Rapids Wilderness Adventures, you will come up with some contact #s of people who run this stretch of river.
Is spring here yet.... :Power:

I would love to make that trip as well. If your still looking for more boats I might be able to make it. I hear that the delta is challenging, have you done this trip before?

GRWA, Darcy Zelman, is a guide and is planning on a trip with 6 to 8 boats leaving Poachers Landing July 1 to July 4. Cost is 225 per person plus an additional 25 per person to take you right to the grand rapids.

I have done the trip to Lake athabasca. The delta is shallow but is marked with ribbon on the small trees sticking out of the water. I have maps of the region and water systems
