Just wondering what people think about the coyote manufacturing 18 foot ecoboost boats. Do you think they will be tough enough with the 1/8 inch stringers? Anyone ever deal with coyote?
Yea that’s kinda what I’m afraid of. Boats look really similar to the bratt jets.theres a video of one on YouTube with the ecoboost it looks like a nice boat and goes well that’s what sparked my interest. I talked to a guy from Gibbons motor toys and he said there built tough.
I did manage to find them on FB but really no information at all. Seems like a small custom build to order sort of thing. They look decent and as you said, like a Bratt.
Just wondering what you want to use the boat for? 1/8 stringers are fine. For a standard boat. If doing Extream jet boating you need heavier stringers but that is in a boat with full uhmw and planing to hit rocks a lot.
My understanding is the owner of Coyote is the original owner of Outlaw Marine which was later sold off. The owners of Bratt were employees of the original Outlaw at the time as well, that's why the share similarities in the design.
I’ll vouch for them. I needed some welding done and they were totally professional. Definitely not bush league. Look into their history and you’ll find they are legit. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy a new boat from them if I had the cash.
Coyote and Bratt are related yes, can't remember if its father and son or brothers but yes they are related and formally of outlaw. I thought the same thing when looking at the Coyote but got brought up to speed from some guys out of gp.
