Its Danny's yearly rant. The concerning part this time is that the Katzi nation is also involved. It seems to take oil company level money to win against FN in Canada these days.
Zero comments about effect FN netting the lower river and commercial netting the marine approach to the Fraser could have on the stocks.

The big problem is the idiots who do stupid chit up there. It cant be denied. There is a certain demographic that think because their new boat cost over $100K, they can just balls out go and do whatever they want in any waterway. 99.9% of the guides in the upper Pitt are awesome and respectful not only to the fishery, but to other boaters and users of the waterway. Its the weekend warrior big HP in small boats crowd that will get this river shut down.

And it has been predicted many times in the past. The small boat crowd might consider the Stave instead?
