The ramp at the Gates has been open for several weeks. Water is still very cold. I was out about 10 days ago and water temps were 37.7 degrees at the ramp and 36.7 degrees up below Hauser Dam. Water flows are very high. River below Hauser is currently flowing at 6,930 cfs where the long term median (normal) is 4,500 cfs. So the water is very high in the river, very cold, and off-color. It sucks for fly fishing right now. I have not heard any recent reports of how the perch/walleye fishing is in the lake itself.
