I bet! High rocks was "a little spooky" last year at 15' with clean water. I'm surprised you didn't see trees coming down river.

O ya! There were some trees. Prob not the best idea. We only made it from the mouth to coffee hole past riverside before intakes were plugged. Went back to trailers to pull weeds regroup and hydrate captains. Then tried one more time with same luck. So a run to the dam will have to wait.

Yeah Hamilton's and no stomp grates in those conditions had to be interesting.

Actually the 241 did really well. The 3 stage grate filled first with the 213 w 212 grate filling a while after that. Benny's 241 barely had any in it. He had a couple reed sticks in the back stater but still had plenty of push. He probably could have gone all the way up. Still way to much stuff to dodge :Drink: :chicken:

Yeah three stages have small grates with close bar spacing. No good in fall conditions. The 241 actually surprises me a little. Those things are notorious for being the first one stranded. Nice real world testing fellas.

The second time we ran was about 3 hours after it peaked so we thought all the trash might have been flushed out. Not So. :!: :rowing:

Anyone out playing on the Clack today? Besides the great weather is looks like it was hanging around 2800 cfs all day. Just above the novice boaters low threshold of 12.5' and 2600 cfs... :chicken:

Do it, and post up some pictures. I've got a full slate around the house, and if I'm good I will have time for boat maintenance!

:Laugh1: No, just know I can't make it so I was trying to see what the conditions were like, and some scenery...
