Confluence Run

Postby WesternWhitewater » Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:32 pm

The 2020 Confluence run (Hells Canyon run) will be September 12th. Please join us. There will be a drivers meeting  at 8:30 A.M. mountain standard time, we will try and get around the camp ground the night before to get a head count of how many want to go to the confluence and how many wish to go up river.  We are looking for group leaders if you are able to lead a group please let Jeff or Dave know ahead of time. Due to Covid and the current circumstances, this will be a scaled back event this year there will be no club provided meal on Saturday evening. Please try and keep your social distance and lets all have a great time. If you have any questions contact Jeff Higgins or Dave Dickerson.

To all that are planning to arrive early for the Confluence run please be aware that two things will be happening during the week heading into the run. Please cooperate and stay out of their way. Both of these will be extremely nice when completed, it is just going to be a inconvenience for a few days.
1st Chip sealing at Pittsburg Landing parking lot should start Tuesday Sept 8th and possibly last through Thursday Sept 10th. During this time, you will most likely need to take your truck and trailer back to the campground as the parking lot will not be available.
2nd There should be someone there finishing the water system during the week prior to the run also.

Anybody out there that can give us a smoke report from the Confluence Run last weekend? I’m expecting it to be bad but hoping not as bad as the news is portraying.
