Hi guys, I just have a quick question. Would a Seadoo xp800 year 1995-1999 work in a 10 foot mini jet boat? Also is there certain issues with the xp800 that I should keep in mind. Thanks

Sam
The XP 800 is a potent and powerful twin engine. The downsides in my opinion are that the rotary valve requires lubrication, either by way of retaining the factory oil injection or creating an oil loop to a small reservoir to supply oil to the the brass rotary valve gear. Second the sidedraft carb set up will be slightly more likely to ingest water than a typical down draft set up. These motors don't tolerate ethanol fuel very well but with clean 91 octane can be both powerful and reliable. I have owned several that were over 160 H.P.
Good lock with your build!
