6.0 L Marine Power Question

Postby Randy » Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:22 pm

I have a 6.0 litre marine power engine in my 21.5" 2006 North River Commander with a hamilton 212 . Just curious as what is the best option for more power. Boating altitude varies depending where I am running. Usually around 3500'.currently only getting 40 mph. Would like a little more. I did read that some folks had issues with the screens on the Injectors plugging due to the fact they have a finer screen than the fuel filters. I spoke with marine power they said that they may have a supercharger for it. Or maybe a Whipple or a stroker kit would be a better option for in it. Fuel has not been an issue yet. 70 gallon tank and I always run premium in everything.

Probably the most cost effective would be if you could get a SC kit directly from marine power with their calibration in the ecu. There's other options like procharger and whipple, but there's a lot of other upgrades that go with it. $$$
Best bang for the buck will be a SC of some sort though, rather then building a stroker.
