Great question "Callingalltheshots".

The 912 has 12 Deg of up trim and 12 Deg of down trim using the base of the jet intake as the reference. Therefore, the zero Deg trim position is with the trim nozzle set parallel to the jet intake base.

[Note: The 912 has a 5 Deg shaft angle from the jet intake base. The above numbers account for this.]

Didn't manage to get it up on to the plane! Why? Trim Nozzle in the up position from some previous testing. We did manage to lift this load. Video to come.

Regarding the first test data posted. With 8 barrels full and planing out at 28 mph...How many seconds did that take?

We didn't record the exact figure. However, we believe it was in the 4 to 6 second range.

My 212 would only be pumping air at the rev limiter with that load. I can't wait for my 912 to arrive ;)

Successful lift of ~ 4,200lb load. Hammer down WOT ... No cavitation

I volunteer my valuable time to take Jeff's boat for river trials in moving water and white water. I will need a drone and it's operator for documentation purposes. This woiuld be a huge sacrifice for the jet boat community, but I will endure this burden with grit and not complain too much. I would further propose launch site be Hells Canyon dam and travel down river to the salmon and back.

Anyone second my motion?

The 912 bolts into the Jet block used by the 212. You will see the steering control shaft and crank at about 2:40 in the walk round video. Thanks for the questions.

Here is my "Beastie" after install. Matt at Inland Marine in Nampa ID tested it before and after the install (2526 ft elevation in the low 80* temps) he says the boat is much more fun to operate with the 912...gained 2-3 mph on the top end, with WOT of 4250, up from 4150 with the 212. Slight slip to 4400 rpm at WOT from dead stop, WAY better than bouncing off the rev limiter with the 212 :) Impeller stack is the same as Jeff's boat, running the smaller 123 mm nozzle. Unfortunately, my work schedule won't allow me to play with it in the Sound and Skagit until next weekend :(
