New Nozzle for Sport Jets

Postby rockchuckar » Sat May 20, 2017 1:25 pm

Here is the first of many new products coming your way from Scott Water Jet. This first one is a steering nozzle for the Mercury Sport Jets. This nozzle will give your sport jet powered boat much better steering but there is a bonus. This nozzle comes with a second insert that will give you a fixed trim position. Simply remove the standard inert and slip in the trim insert and off you go. Price for this new nozzle is $800.00 from Schlagel Marine & Motorsports LLC , 208-921-1214 .

How many degrees is the fixed trim insert? Also are these available now?

I have a sportjet 200 up. What steering problem does this solve? I don't know of any problems with it now but maybe I just am used to it.

It bends the water flow when turning like the rest of our nozzles do which improves the steering of the boat and lessens the feed back you get at the wheel.

If it's anything like their trim nozzle, which I had on my last boat, and it sure looks almost identical minus the hydraulic ram, it will be a major reduction in steering effort and feedback.

Will the fixed trim nozzle reduce the proposing I get in my boat? It starts whenever I try to run faster than 45 kph (4900 rpm)
